Bryson R. Chow, Esq., Principal Attorney at ChowLegal

Bryson R. Chow, Esq.

Principal Attorney

Background

Bryson R. Chow is the founder and principal attorney of The Law Office of Bryson Chow, LLLC, a Honolulu litigation practice focused on commercial disputes, construction law, community association matters, and strategic general counsel services.

Before founding the firm in 2020, Bryson spent over a decade building and leading a litigation practice at one of Honolulu's established firms. Three years after receiving his license, he was named co-managing partner, a role he held while simultaneously serving as co-chair of the firm's litigation section. Under his leadership, the firm earned recognition as a "Top Real Estate & Construction Law Firm" by Pacific Business News and was repeatedly named one of the "Best Law Firms in Hawaii" by U.S. News & World Report.

Bryson earned his J.D. from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver, where he worked at one of Colorado's top-ranked trial firms throughout law school. That early immersion in high-volume, high-stakes trial work shaped the litigation-forward approach he brings to every matter today.

"The goal is never simply to win a motion. The goal is to win the case, protect the client, and build a record that forecloses adverse outcomes at every stage."

Practice Philosophy

Legal fees are an investment. An investment in your business, in your family's security, in the outcome that matters most to you. You deserve someone managing that investment who puts your goals and risks first, with a proven track record of delivering results at the highest level. Bryson has recovered nearly $100 million on behalf of clients across his career.

When someone reaches out to this firm, the first conversation is not a sales pitch. It is an honest assessment: whether you need an attorney at all, what level of attorney your situation requires, and whether this firm is the right fit. Counsel before counsel. That commitment to candor is why clients trust the advice they receive once representation begins.

Bryson built and managed a multi-attorney practice for years before making a deliberate decision to go solo. Not to wind down, but to do the opposite: shrink the caseload, take only selective matters, and give every client the principal-level attention that larger firms promise but rarely deliver. The result is a practice where the attorney who takes your call is the attorney who knows every fact in your file, appears at every hearing, and makes every strategic decision.

Experience

Bryson's practice spans commercial and business litigation, construction law, land and business valuation disputes, lease rent disputes, partnership and LLC disputes, and community association law. His clients have included Kamehameha Schools, Dole Plantation Company, AOAO Moana Pacific, the Wailea Community Association, the Palehua Community Association, and numerous other institutional and corporate clients across Hawaii. He has also provided strategic legal guidance to startups and individuals navigating complex disputes.

He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association (litigation and collections sections) and the Community Associations Institute (CAI), and has spoken at industry seminars on litigation, construction, and community association matters.
